I made 29 miles this week! :) I had to go indoors and do quite a few of the miles but I did it. Sometimes I even walked on my lunch AND after work. Gotta get those 25 in! Hope everyone else is doing great... walk on! |

David... Right now we have about 6-8" of snow on the ground. I've been walking indoors for the last two weeks. Not real thrilled about walking around in circles, but I do notice that I walk a lot faster. I did buy some snow cleats from QVC, haven't used them yet but they look like that are going to be great. I'll let you know.... |

I am walking at our "Sportsplex", which means I am walking around the ice arena. It is a little chilly but not as bad as outside right now, and no wind! There is a walking mat, to help cushion the walk, but I find my shines hurting even tho I have been walking since June. I just keep walking thru it and it does go away. I wish I had a treadmill, just no room for one. I am thinking of doing some arobics classes this winter to shake things up a little. It'll probably do my body good to use other muscles too. Can't wait till spring tho.. |
