I'm new-ish to triathlons and am interested in what publications (online or hard copy) other triathletes out there recommend. What I'm most interested in is training tips, nutrition info, and the like. I have a great coach and train with a club but am always on the lookout for more info.
Thanks! |

Hi Alison. I'm not a triathlete, but Runnersweb.com is a great site. it's run by a gentleman who reads EVERYTHING and posts links to the articles. He's also got a weekly newsletter you can sign up for. There's a wide variety of info. Take care. John |

Alison, Here is about the best list I could come up with:
Tri magazine
Inside Tri Magazine
220 Magazine (UK...but very good)
Triathlon Life Magazine
Competitor Magazine
I'm sure I'm forgetting one...but tri those.

Thanks Janina, I'll check it out.
Hey John,
Good to see another Vancouverite/Kits denizen here too!
I did the Diva last August, which is the same swim and bike route as the North Shore tri, just a different run course. The bike's easy, if a little boring, although the nine 180 turns spice it up a bit (I'm not a good cyclist so that slowed me down a lot!). Apparently the swim gets a bit nuts, but if you don't mind a crowd you're fine.
Any plans for an Olympic distance tri? Squamish (in July) is supposed to be nice.
A.
PS - Did you know there's a new triathlon toy store on 4th? Check out Speed Theory at 4th & Trafalgar. |
