I need your help on what I should log water polo as!
Clearly it shouldn't be swimming, because it's not. Is there a way to do a custom sport entry? I'm going to wear a HR monitor and get calories burnt from that, but how to log it? |

Is there any update on this?
As I sit watching the Womens Semi Final on TV, I can't help feeling there must be more water polo players! Can we please have a water polo option for logging? Perhaps with three intensity settings - easy training, hard training and match play? |

As an Ex-water polo player, I remember trying to figure this out for health class, etc. There wasn't much that related directly to it at the time, but I think they decided to go with other strenuous activities that are measured by time, not distance. I would be very difficult to determine any distance during workouts, games or scrimmages.
From what I remember we equated it to rowing, cross country skiing or fast swimming. However, I did find this link that includes water polo and many other activities that you might find useful.....

Hopefully, I can get back in shape to start playing water polo again sometime.

I played in HS and some college. Even a club a few years back. I should check out the club. Still no category but I think any strenuous activity would compare and logged by time.
