Anyone have an opinion as to which training video set they like best. I've read alot of the posts on spinervals and it seems to be pretty popular here and I was about to start buying them until I saw Chris Carmichael has some out too. Hmmm... If anyone has any input please share.
Thanks,

Great question... I have tried both and by far like the Spinervals the best. However, you might find that one fits your needs better than the other. I like the various levels of intensity that you can find from the different Spinerval tapes and series'. I like to always fall back on the clysdale video as either a rest day or a workout to do when you might not really feel in the mood.
The Spinerval hill workouts and strenght training on the bike are superb, especially this time of year when you are building your base,
Good luck,

I've always used Spinervals and have never tried CC's. Remember that CC was Lance Armstrongs coach for a very long time. Without viewing his videos, I would guess that his are more of a scientific approach to greatness. Troy Jackobsons are oriented to the triathletes and maybe a bit more market based. Regardless, those tapes have gotten me through very long trainer rides. I will eventually tire of the same videos and probably end up trying CC's also. |

Thanks Guys,
I've just purchased a new cycleops trainer which comes with a CTS (time trial) video. After watching...I believe you're right. With Chris Carmichael it's ALL applied science whereas it seems the spinervals series are geared by motivation. I guess it all boils down to what works best for you...and with the way things have been going, I think the spinervals are what I'm after.
Thanks Again,
