Has anyone here had any experience with a chiropractor? I'm debating between consulting a chiropractor or a physical therapist for some mild lower back pain. |

David,
You may want to try a 90 minute massage first. Find a local spa that has a person experienced in sports massages as opposed to aromic/relax type massages, though those are nice also.
If you anywhere my age (53)running with mild lower back pain is typical. I take Advil and a day of rest if needed. It comes with the territory. However, I am not dismissing your pain. Back pain is nothing to take lightly. |

Not sure if it's too late, but I use both!
My Chiropractor has kept me going for almost 20 years and since starting my marathon training I get a massage every week. If you have anxiety about the chiropractor, get the massage therapy, but you'll need a few sessions to work it out. |

David,
I've had lower back pain for years while running. I've had absolutely so luck with physios and have just recently been seeing a chiropractor who practices ART. Got me back on the road in 3 visits without pain. I was amazed.
