I've been using a pair of nike free as my daily "walk around" shoes for the last 4 months. I'm not using them for regular runs, however I do wear them on a daily basis. I have found that just wearing these shoes has really made my feet feel stronger. The offer a lot less support than most shoes, so your feet think you are walking around in just bare feet. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Worth consideration if you are out shoe shopping. |

You can buy then directly from the nike.com website. You should even be able to configure them to your own color / specs. They have been my favorite "every day" shoes ever since I bought them. |

I finally got mine in the mail a few days ago.... They have been great!! They are a cross between a great morning slipper and all around house shoe and a really comfortable warm weather walk around shoe. Does anyone run in these? |

Reminds me of an article I read about the Tarahumara Indians who run ultra marathons through the Copper Canyons in Mexico with just sandals made with only 5mm of old tyre (tire) rubber strapped to their feet.
