This past week for me was a disappointment. I didn't meet any of the goals I set for myself. But today is another day and this week another week of the challenge. To keep it simple, my goals for the week are:

1. Workout at least 5 days this week.

2. Focus on healthy eating-even on the 4th!

Good luck all!

Deborah

Last week was a decent week for me. Ran my 5k on Thursday and surprised myself with how well I ran. Over the weekend we went camping and did alot of mountain biking and some swimming. No running but the biking and swimming made up for it! Looking to get a short run in tonight and then 4-5 mile run with part of the team for the Crim tomorrow. I'll play the rest of the week by ear. haha. I do have an 8k on the 5th too. Have a great week everyone!

Last week was o.k. Probably could have done better but I'm not beating myself up over it. Weight is at 126.8 so I can't be doing so bad. According to my scales I haven't lost any muscle.

Goal for the week:

1. Do the best I can & be happy with myself.

That's it.

This week I really had to force myself to get out there. I went to LA over the weekend and had jet lag on Monday when I got back on the "red eye". So I went to bed when I got home at 2pm and slept 5 hours then got up and walked about 4 miles. Keeping the attitude "Just do it", I was pleasantly surprised to see I lost 2 pounds this week! This is my third straight week of doing 25 miles a week and I'm beginning to feel great! My feet don't hurt so much anymore and when I stretch after my walks, it feels great! My goal this week is to walk 25 miles, eat a little better than I did last week (I had more junk food than normal, partially because I went out of town) and go back to drinking Crystal Light to get my water intake up a little more. Have a great week!

Last weeks:

1. Run/walk 4 days- only did 3 days

2. Lost 1.2 lbs. (3.4 total since beginning challenge)

3. Track food- done

4. Drink more water- still got to work on this.

On to this week. I have high hopes in spite of a weekend that is normally spent eating alot and drinking too much.

Thanks Sherron for the thoughts. I had such a busy week that I didn't get much in as far as work-outs. This week may not be much better... my students are competing at the AAU Jr.. Olympic Nationals for Taekwondo. We leave in the morning to check in and then they compete on Wednesday and Friday. I will be singing the National Anthem to start the competition each day... I'm pretty excited to sing on the 4th of July! I'll be sure to let you know how they do.

Let's keep the motivation going this week... remember...

KEEP MOVING!!!

Hi All!

Well it's a new month and a new start!

My goals this week are to drink more water, and to try to exercise at least one half hour per day. I would also like to eat more to plan.

Have a great week!

Morning All!

My plan is to exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes every day - so far so good!

I have my 15 year school reunion happening at the start of October - so the aim is to lose 12kgs (26 lbs)in three months - go from 77kgs (169 lbs) to 65kgs (143 lbs). So here goes!! :) Hope you are all enjoying your sunshine over there, while it is practically snowing here in Armidale!! :)

Cheers - Pen

Oh My Gosh - We are to week 3 already and I haven't gotten anything logged. I have been doing good on my water - the food has been up and down - exercise still isn't what it should be. I can see one of my main obstacles is letting my life dictate to me instead of me making the plan and then carrying it out. Revelation is always good. I will get my stats in before the end of the week though - I don't want any big goose eggs next to my name. Onward and upward!!

Hey!

I've been so busy just like everyone else and hadn't had time to check in so I just made myself tonight. Good week last week. Started some interval training where I jog for 2 minutes and walk for 3 for a few miles. Whew, that gets me sweatin' really good, but I love it! Food is good also and I even got in a little strength training which I need badly. So I will continue on this week like I've been doing. The weather hasn't been too hot and the smoke from all the fires is clearing so walking outside is more pleasant. Looking forward to the holiday! Hope you all enjoy your's! I'll check in again Sunday! Ciao!

ALex

p.s. Keep up the good work :-)

Yesterday 7 of my students sparred at the AAU National Taekwondo Championships. They all did an awesome job! There was some great competition there. I was also glad that I had 2 other assistant coaches to help me keep track of where all of my students were. Tomorrow they all compete in forms. It should not be as hectic because I don't have to coach them as they do their forms, I just have to make sure that they are in the right place at the right time.

I did do some swimming on Tuesday night, and lots of walking (and running) around at Nationals. We also went to the zoo on Tuesday afternoon so I got a lot of walking in there too.

Next week should be closer to normal again, so I will get back into the routine of things.

KEEP MOVING!!!

I feel pretty good with what I've been able to do since I posted earlier in the week. I got to the club on Monday & Wednesday - climbed hills on the treadmill and did a couple sets on the weights both days besides. It's amazing how much better I feel when I do that - physically and mentally. I'm traveling for the weekend, but hope to get a walk in early tomorrow morning before I leave. Happy 4th to you all -

Happy 4th everyone!

I've been thinking all day that it's Saturday and what a nice surprise to realize I have one more day in the weekend. I took a nice 10.5 mile bike ride despite the 97 degree heat here in Atlanta. It was felt good to get out and enjoy the sunny weather and do something good for myself at the same time. Later my partner and I are cooking out low fat hamburgers, planning to walk the dogs and maybe catch some fireworks. It's been a good day. Hope the same is true for everyone else and those traveling got to their destinations safely.

Had alittle set back on Thursday with an injury but better today. Rode 9 miles yesterday and did 1 1/2 hrs of deep water aerobics this morning, great workout. Have a good weekend.
