Hello There,
I'm new to the site and I'm struggling with the strength training journal.
Firstly, The weight training routine I am currently doing is the same set of exercises every session for the next 6 weeks. What I want to do is save that routine then enter them as planned on the days I intend to do it. Is this possible and if so how?
Secondly, When I train I do 12 reps per set, so if I fail on my starting weight after 8 reps for example, then I will finish the remaining 4 reps with a lighter weight with no rest in between.
When I set my plan for this workout I entered the following:
12reps @ 100kg, 12 reps @ 100kg, 12 reps @ 100kg
however, when I did my routine the actual figures were:
12reps @ 100kg, 10reps @100kg/2 reps @70kg, 8reps @ 100kg/4reps @ 70kg
How can I allow for this in the planned workout?
Thirdly,Is there anyway of viewing the volume of work done in each session, by exercise, so I can ensure that I am continuing to increase the work I am doing each gym visit?
Finally, I is there any way I can overwrite the time period of the exercise, as my actual time in the gym is nowhere near the time shown in the plan. I also wear a heart rate monitor that counts calories burned, so can I over write this as well for any given workout?
