I am in the process of designing and printing Fitness Journal gear for 2007. This gear order will include cycling jerseys, cycling shorts, FJ T-shirts, and FJ hats. If you think you might be interested in any of these, please visit the gear link on your home page and let me know what you might like to order. There is no obligation, I just need to get some quantity and size counts. I'll be posting designs and final prices and packages as they become available. |

Here is a rough draft of the cycling jersey. This will give an idea of the current color and images. Feedback, as always is greatly appreciated and of course will impact the end results.

Here is an example of the back, version 1 for review. I've been going back and forth for the tag line on the back. During the Tour De Tahoe I came up with a few good lines that would work beyond "success should be recorded"
"I am totally logging this"
"you should be logging this"
"what are your stats?"

Love the design!
"I am totally logging this!" is my favorite.
I like the blue, but am wonder if there are going to be color options.

The expected delivery date for our Jerseys and Shorts will be August 20th-24th. I'll start taking actual orders by the beginning of July. There have been hundreds of pre-orders submitted thus far for Jerseys, Shorts, T-shirts and Hats. I do not have a ship date for t-shirts or hats yet but I'll keep you posted.
The final tag line for the back will be (by popular demand) "I am totally logging this" |

Here is the revised Front. Note a small change to the blue to white gradient. After speaking to the printing company we decided that extending the blue would actually print much better.

the blue matches my complexion, with a hint of green, when i get 3/4 way through my uphill hikes ! love it , not got the figure for the cycling shirt but cant wait for the t ! |

I am as excited as you are! You will note that they pro deal is only cycling gear, however we will have a full store of stuff before long. I have to have all pro deal orders by wednesday for anyone who wants them. Cheers! |

Thanks for your kind words Gerry! I'm pretty sure there are other FJ members who both purchasing gear and riding the napa century. It will be great for FJ'ers to get to know each other offline. |

Hey Gerry - There must be 2 Napa Valley rides. (Ahh, just saw a previous e-mail on this one. Unfortunately I will be away that weekend.)
There are 7 of us FJers / Wine Country Velo riders doing the Napa Century sponsored by the Eagle Cycling Team. However, the ride is August 19th. Just a bit too early for the new FJ Gear... :o(
Is there another one in Spetember? Sept will be hard for me as the 1st week I am on a 5 day backpacking trip, then Sept 9th is the Big Kahuna Triathlon in Santa Cruz.

It seems like there are two different rides... I am doing the three day ride for the former Sacramento Lung Association on Sept 7,8, &9 or whatever the second weekend is in Sept. Oh well, I'll still represent FJ and the CalTrans team that I am riding with,

Our gear is shipping from Voler today (Thursday). They said there was a bit of a delay but that everything is expected to ship by end of day today. I will let you know as soon as gear is in my hands! |
