With the price of gas skyrocketing, I'm seriously considering purchasing an elliptical trainer to use in my home rather than traveling to the gym to use the one there. I don't use my gym membership for any other purpose than to supplement my running with another form of cardio that is easy on the joints.
Has anyone had any success with elliptical trainers at home?

I purchased an elliptical trainer for my home -- it was delivered yesterday. So far both my wife and I really like it. I believe the key is getting a sturdy, solid machine, even it means paying a few more bucks. This one is a low-end commercial grade, so it doesn't feel flimsy or shaky at all.
