Hi Chris - I've been checking my US map, and the miles seem to be racking up slower than I expected. This morning I checked the 52 week distance graph, and that total seems fine. Why don't the graph and the map show the same mileage? I'd like the map to show all my miles, even if some of them are the result of rowing and not running or walking. All my various forms of exercise together are making me stronger and faster, so as a visual person I'd like it ALL to show on the map. Is it possible to fix the discrepancy between the two displays? Thanks for a terrific product and service! |

I agree. I put a lot of time in swimming and that does not show up on the map either. It is fun to watch and see how far you have gone and sometimes it makes it easier for other people to understnad if you could tell them that you have traveled from a specific city to another. I love the program but would love for it to cover all sports, especially my swimming.

All maps now display all reported distances including swimming. Please check your maps and let me know if you are still seeing any problems. This includes:
- external US map
- internal US map
- internal CA map
- internal AU map

Life is beautiful and I am in Nevada! Thanks so much. One small issue - the mileage graph and map are MUCH closer, but still don't match. My 52 week mileage chart shows 212.08 as of two minutes ago, but the US/Canada/Aus maps show 220.4/220.4/220.38.
I did not enter mileage for cleaning or gardening on the occasion I entered each of those - it seemed silly. But if the map part of the software is somehow generating a mileage for those it may explain the small remaining discrepancy. Anyway, on a journey of 3-7000 miles, I can handle a discrepancy this size!

I think some of what people are seeing is the fact that the internal map rounds to tenths, and the external map shows the mileage in thousandths. I thought it was wrong too until I noticed this. Currently this is what mine shows:
external 100.82
internal 100.0
I have seen a difference of as much as eight tenths, but that is part of the rounding. Not really a big deal when you understand it. Keep up the good work on the maps. |

The difference that I reported back then has now grown to over 11 miles. For some reason my map does not even show up on my blog anymore either. I have tried to cut and paste again, but no dice. For some reason the map total on this site, and any other mileage data are way off. I do like the fact that the map says that I have gone 11 miles further than I really have though. |
