HI Mitch, congrats on the steady weight-loss and exercise regime. I will miss my weigh-in tomorrow cause we're going out for my Mother-in-laws birthay. I'm sure that I will have a loss a week from Tuesday. [will have to be careful though food-wise cause we're going to our cottage and usually it's munchy-city when we get there].

Re: core - i was on the core in the past and liked it. My particular problem was that I constantly felt like I was cheating until I started tracking all of my food [even though I was on core] I discovered that I was still in my points range. I typcically follow a high [lean] protein, low carb [smart carbs/high fibre] foodplan. The only reason I went back to flex was because I wanted to find out the points values of the foods [am thinking of becoming a weight watcher leader at some point].

my goals for the week:

* increase my walking to 30 minutes x 5 days

* continue to track my food

* start some floor exercise 15 minutes x 3 days a week

Current WW weight 164 [loss of 1.5]

Hello-

Mitch- congrats on another great week and happy birthday!

My week went pretty well. I had one day that I'm not proud of, but I got right back on track. I had to back off on the exercise toward the end of the week because my husband and I went hiking in Yosemite over the weekend. I knew the Saturday hike would have the impact of a marathon on my body so I taperd for it. We did the Half Dome Hike. What an amazing day.

Goals for this week:

Weigh and face the music

Swim, run, bike at least once each-

Daily dog walks

Log everything

No overeating. Not even one day. Period.

Good luck everyone!

Hey everyone! Mitch -- congrats on your progress! You can certainly be proud.

I lost .2 at my weigh-in yesterday. Not too bad -- all things considered. My focus this week is to get the exercise in. The weather has been pretty crappy out here and I've been going to bed so early because of the early wake-up time.

Heard a good tip at my meeting yesterday. Figured I'd share. One of the women said that she puts a teaspoon of the powdered Crystal Light drink mix in her fat free plain yogurt. She said it makes it taste just like the fruit-flavored w/ no additional points. Haven't tried it but thought it sounded very innovative.

Week 1: 3.4 loss

Week 2: missed weigh-in

Week 3: .2 loss

Total loss: 3.6 loss

Good luck to everyone this week!

Charlotte

Have put some feelers out and discovered that there are 2 exercise health clubs 10 minutes away from my work. Am away for 8 days as of tomorrow so will check them out when i get back into the office. Have also dusted off some old videos which I hope I can get up early to do before heading off to the office. Will keep you posted on how it goes.
