I was just contacted by Triathlon British Columbia, and they informed me that based on my Olympic distance triathlon results in June I have earned a spot on Team BC for the National Championships which are in Kelwona on August 17th.
I have allready commited to (and paid for) another race in Calgary on that same day, but obviously would rather be part of the team for nationals. So now I am fighting to get a refund for the Calgary race and work out some transportation and accommodation for Nationals!
Tri BC will pay for my entry and everything, so even if I can't get my money back from Calgary I will still come out even! |
