Lost a couple more pounds this week which brought my grand total to 70lbs!! I am so thrilled, I just bought some new size 12 jeans. I couldn't tell you when I wore a size 12, maybe high school? I would love to lose 30 more by spring. I still have my goal of losing 5 more before Christmas and I am going to do it!!

Hi everyone, tj here, I am so glad to here all of you are doing so well. I am 10-lbs from being 200lbs or less, I am going to make it, because i refuse to bring 200lbs into the new year. Then my goal will continue to go forward. So keep up the good work and keep encourgeing me, I need it. tj

Tanya, I'll be here with you for the long haul. I am going to go all the way down to my goal this time, cause "If not now? When?" That is a motto I plan to live by. If I don't do it now, am I going to wait till I am older and it is even harder. Or wait till I have problems with my knees/back, whatever. Or told I HAVE to because of my health? I am going to do it now, cause "I" want to. And it's actually getting fun, hearing compliments from my patients during the day, and the shopping is so much more enjoyable. (expensive-but fun!) Let's do this together girls, and when we can start posting pictures, we can show off our "new selves" to each other!! WE CAN DO THIS!!

Hi Ladies tj, has anyone been watching the TV program "The Biggest Loser" If not it comes on Tuesday at 8:00 Eastern Standard Time. If you can check it out this Tuesday, it will be on for 2hrs and it is a great inspiration. tj

tj, I LOVE< LOVE< LOVE "The Bigest Loser"! I tape the show and then ride my exercise bike while I watch it in the morning. I think to myself "If the can keep going, so can I". I have lost 31 pounds since mid-September. My Sister got married on Sept.10th and when I saw the pictures I decided it was time to lose those extra 50 pounds. I have 20 more to go, and I feel better than I have in a long time! I think this week I'll be able to watch "The Bigest Loser" when it comes on Tuesday night, so I'll be thinking of you while I watch it.

Tammie, i never thought about taping it and watching it in the morning. thanks for the tip. This week it is on for 2 hours and i will tape it and watch it for the next day and keep it for when I get in a slump. It is a great show. For the next taping i will keep your suggestion in mine, that is great. Now you have got me excited and want to get real busy. So how did you lose all that weight since Mid Sept. give me some pointers. thanks again, tj

I've been very diligent with my work-out routine, and my eating habbits. I found that what works for me as far as eating is I have hot cereal for breakfast, a large bowl of veggies for lunch (either a salad or steamed veggies) and then I can eat what ever I want for dinner as long as I watch the portion control. My work-out routine is pretty simple, I walk 3 miles every morning, and I have a Taekwondo School so I work-out with my students when they warm up in the begining of class. I also teach Kardio Kickboxing 2 times a week. I make sure that I work out for at least a half hour every day, and if I miss a day I make up for it the next day. I also work with my exersize ball doing ab work and lifting dumbells. Lastly I use my exersize bike once or twice a week. I like to mix it up so I don't get bored with my workout. If you want some suggestions on how to target specific body parts, ask, this is what I do for a living. Some of my students are very interested in my progress, and that inspires me to work harder so I can tell them that I am successful in my goal of not only loosing weight, but getting healthier. I'm pretty proud of myself because I started out at 196lbs and a tight size 16, and now I'm down to 165lbs and I'm in a tight size 10. My 15 year wedding anniversary is in August, and my goal is to be a fit 145lbs by then. I hope this helps you.

Thanks Tammie, yes I need all the help I can get. First the abs If I do 100 crunches a day and stick to my meal plan will the abs tighten up (loose skin) I am also working my arms I do 3sets of 12 for the bicepts and tricepts is there anything else I need to do. tj
