Here is a great challenge for anyone who is up for it. The Las Vegas marathon will be held on December 4th 2005. They close off the strip and it should be a lot of fun. Maybe we can get some FitnessJournal representation for the race :-) Free FitnessJournal.org t-shirts to any members who show up!

I ran the Las Vegas 1/2 in 2005 and wanted to do the marathon, but I have to be at a meeting in New Orleans December 1-4, so won't make it this time. If there are any 1/2 runners out there, check out the www.lovethehalf.com challenge. I'm running 13 half marathons in 13 months - 9 down, 4 to go. |

What about the California International Marathon in Sacramento on December 4th? That's the one I am doing.

While I have not yet make my travel arrangements, I am planning on going to this race! I'll keep you posted, it should be a great time! |
