Those three half marathons are my plan for the rest of the year. Newport-Liberty has a great view of Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty while you run. I did it in 2005, but didn't finish, so hoping to actually complete it this year on September 28th. I have a friend who lives in Monterey, so will be visiting her when I do this one on November 9th. Philadelphia is home. I've never run the marathon. I did the 8k a few years ago, before they added the half marathon, so thought it would be fun to do the 1/2 this year. Maybe the full next year? |
